Inside My Make-up Bag.

A friend of mine just snooped inside my make-up bag, and she asked, "Wow, you're wearing make-up this much?" I told her that normally I don't use a lot of make-up and stick to a basic lip gloss, but I always carry around so much stuff inside my make-up bag. Sometimes things tend to pile up each week. So what's been in my make-up bag?

Pond's complete solution pimple cover and care concealer pen - I have so many pimples on my face lately (which is normal during GnRH treatment) and I cover them with this Pond's concealer. I don't think it's necessary for me to have a real concealer so this one is a wise choice.

The Body Shop clover pink lip liner - Mandatory liner prior to applying a lipstick - any kind of lipstick (lipstick has always been a problem to wear because it's constantly coming off, so I apply lipliner before I put on my lipstick to make it stay on).

Lip glosses: NYX Tiramisu Butter Gloss and Sephora Neutral Rose - Daily use, depending on my mood (read the review here).

Wardah eye shadow - For my daily neutral/nude look, I find my most-reached-for palettes are this Wardah. The colors aren't really pigmented but they're "pop" enough so I don't end up looking like I have bruises on my eyes when I wear these.

Batiste dry shampoo - This is a miracle in a can. Just a few spritzes and it can instantly eliminates grease from my hair.

Dior Violet Solstice lipstick - I always bring a red lipstick everyday. I didn't want to feel disappointed if a nice make-up wearing occasion came up!

Face on Face Blooming Rose nourishing blush on - This is the best pink blush I've ever found!

The Hypercurl Volum' Express Maybelline mascara - I hate mascara. I really really do. I usually let my lashes run free so aside from a little bit Egyptian Magic Cream for my lashes, I didn't take mascara with me. But giving mascara a chance is also an option right? :))

And umm.. My mom bought me this Benefit World Famous Neutrals eyeshadow palette. My friend has been using it for daily eye-shadow and it looks great on her. As a girl who loves a good ol' nude palette, I was very happy when Mom gave me this..

I'd say this is the least scary palettes. All the nude shades have decent pigmentation and looked different compared to other shadows I own (I mean that Wardah.. hehe.. don't hit me). The lasting power is great and once you use a primer you'll find they will last all day long. Also, it's really easy to apply the shimmer all over the lid and then blend a mate into the crease. Plus.. I love the box.

I always find it hard to write about make-up, it's like I'm re-writing all of my thesis chapters. So  I'm happy with this post :)) Phew! #bloggerproblems.

Have a nice weekend you all!

♥, Me.
